LOWER YOUR CARBON FOOTPRINT WITH

CLOUD COMPUTING

Data Centre World, Barbican, London

Data Centre World

Cloud computing technologies available today allow organisations to become legislatively compliant (CRC) and more socially responsible without the commercially negative consequences.

Tired of listening to nebulous discussion about ‘green credentials’?  So are we.

ACS, drawing on its many years’ experience at the forefront of data centre management and infrastructure hosting services, understands this better than most. We have therefore devised a programme of practical operational steps that provide immediate, quantifiable benefit to your organisation which we will be presenting at the Data Centre World Expo in London on the 24th February 2010.

Data Centre World is the largest free exhibition and conference for data centre professionals in the UK examining, in detail, the issues surrounding the selection, outsourcing, building and running of a data centre.

What makes a data centre more efficient to power and cool? How can the PUE indicator be lowered? How does cloud computing work to deliver on-demand resources?  And how does it improve efficiency?  Interim Chief Technology Officer at ACS, Nick Miller, describes the steps you can take to operate an energy-efficient data centre and the benefits of utility computing resources.

If you would like to attend our session at Data Centre World, (10:45am, Theatre 2, The Barbican) then register now by following the links to the right.

It works in our data centres, let it work in yours.
